After Gane (well, in theory), this is absolutely the most interesting fight for Jones right now. Stipe has been on the decline for years and I'm pretty sure is retired, which of course is why they're making that fight next. I'll watch it, but it sure doesn't excite me.

Unfortunately this is probably the most dangerous fight.

At least at heavyweight the danger of the Hail Mary is as high as it possibly could be....so that should make the fights exciting and MAYBE keep him motivated.

Jones is faster, if they don't go balls out in the first round no chance for them. Imagine Blaydes dealing with low kicks after the first round, they would all be a walking target after the third round

At HW Jones just proved he can beat the most technical and fastest striker. I guess people can move goal posts and say he needs to fight the best wrestler and most powerful striker at HW. So if he beat Pavlovich/Ngannou (if he decides he does want the money and comes back) for power, and Blaydes I think is the only wrestler, everyone would be out of excuses of what style Jones is afraid of.

All of Blaydes losses were from getting caught with guys with KO power, Jones does not have that. And Blaydes is definitely a stronger wrestler ( stronger, not better so dont get it twisted)
