Blaydes and Aspinall make things interesting. Maybe Stipe assuming he isn't washed like many are claiming he is.

Jones looked tentative and vulnerable on the feet in his last few fights at 205. He didn't have to worry about striking with Gane at all because he knew Gane can't grapple.

Guys like Blaydes and Aspinall who are fantastic grapplers themselves, can perhaps force a standup fight. Jones striking at hw is still an unknown at this point. Blaydes is probably the most interesting as his punches carry a little more pop than Aspinall's.

HW is a wise move for an aging Bones. I think there is less talented contenders in HW than LHW. He is not that easy for bam bam or lewis type of guys to just catch with one punch.

people overreacting as always. he took down a guy with no TDD and submitted him, okay. but it's mma and it's HW, one shot and it's over. a guy like pavlovich (or francis if he hadn't left) can obviously put him out with one shot. he'll have to go back to the ole eyepoke to stay out of danger.
