They both have their work cut out for them in the WBSS tournament. Relikh has to get through Prograis in his semi-final and Baranchyk has to get through Taylor in his. I've already picked Taylor to beat Baranchyk in another thread. In the unlikely event that both manage to advance to the WBSS final, provided they don't get injured (where we get stuck with a reserve/replacement), then enough prestige and money should be there for them to fight. Both of Belarus champions are in the Junior Welterweight division.
I wonder if they will end up fighting each other or if there is some National pride to avoid that.
I'll be watching but I expect Gvozdyk and Acosta to retain their titles tonight. I'll update the list and stats if Lopez or Ngumbu are successful.Oleksandr Gvozdyk from the Ukraine puts his WBC World Light Heavyweight Title on the line against Congo's Doudou Ngumbu tonight in Philadelphia on ESPN.
Puerto Rico currently has 2 champions. One of those champions, Angel Acosta puts his WBO World Light Flyweight belt on the line against Mexico's Ganigan Lopez on DAZN tonight.
