Crypto Megathread v38 - BTC 100k watch. You got lucky and it's just a bubble!

Just another sign retail is coming back.. I randomly walked past this girl's desk that works in customer service this morning and she was talking about XRP. Turns out she just downloaded RH and was talking about stocks and crypto that she wanted to invest in.

Ask her if she has any tips for ole Pete, sounds like shes already got it more figured out than I do

Bunch of longs got wrecked. Like usual, the whole market sentiment excuse is at the forefront.

See you back at 99k in a day.

Gotta love when markets sell off because... Get this ... The economy is doing better than expected lol. Ermahgerd! The dollar is still strong and unemployment is still low!!!

If cryptocurrency follows other market trends, January tends to be a weaker month. Wouldn't surprise me one bit if BTC stays flat or retraces until November or July if we are lucky

If I had to guess, either this will play out like 2017 and we still run up to April or May and sell off into a bear market.

Or, all markets keep shitting the bed until the 10 year Treasury finally starts dropping like a stone and the Fed has to start QE, which could happen over the next few months. Then, we finally start going back up. Or I guess if it gets bad enough, we go into a full blown recession and all bets are off.

Either way I'm glad I'm still locking up cash in 4 percent yield accounts to this date.
