Faster, cheaper, more scalable.Can someone explain what does solana do that eth can't?
it simply seems like a smaller, less reliable, more centralised, less scalable eth. There is also a huge minting process to subside tx fees going on right?
Is it because everything is notionally on layer1? I see that as a negative personally. A healthy variety of layer 2 chains that offer different approaches based on business needs but take on all security and interoperability from layer1 is a clearly superior proposition.
what am I missing
There is a debate as to whether a single chain versus L2s is the right way to go.
