I have ALGO and I think it kinda sucks. It’s never impressive. It is always hovering under $1

I think Cardano or polkadot have way more upside... But DOT is already at $20

The smart folks will take some profits after a big pump. I'm not smart - I just hodl with every fiber of my being until it falls off a cliff to 0!

I need to learn to sell into greed and buy into fear but I never do it.

I’m a small time investor. Tiny. Got a little more than 15k in it — of which I have exactly 2 shares of Ethyrium. Missed the boat on Bitcoin

The rest of my portfolio is a grab bag of literally every coin out there. No joke. My logic: I’m not smart enough to know what’s going to be the next big thing. Nor is anyone else. I’m holding onto everything I got until something hits. So maybe I lose it all? Doubt it.

There are enough people with money who are stuck in shitty low trust countries with faltering economies and crooked governments that I think Crypto will be a solid investment for the future. Playing the long game.

Invest only what you can afford to sit on for years or lose, obviously


If you’re holding like you’re saying than you ARE one of the smart ones. Yeah you didn’t get in early… that sucks… but better late than never.

Don’t know anything about them. I bought ALGO too high. Around $1.35. Now I’m annoyed but it lol

It’s a good coin, it has just not been moving lately. It was moving a lot a few months ago. They seriously need a hype man for them, they seem to be all business and fail to sell themselves a bit better. They need a meme guy or something.

I certainly didn't mean it that way. Back when Solana dropped on CB, every one in this thread were talking about it and buying it. Then they moved on to the next flavor of the day/week. Sometimes the folks in here have some squirrel syndrome though, so didn't know if I was missing out on something.

Yeah, it happens. I bought a bit at 1.35 after it dropped from the 1.50s. I just bought a lot more after it went below a dollar. And more when it went below .80.

But, I understand. I got ICP when it was way too high since it already dropped a lot. So I’m still in the red and will probably be for a while. But it has real potential so I’ll just sit on it for a while. Hopefully you are at least collecting interest on your Algo. That’s one thing I try to do with as many as I can, find ways for them to continue making more without buying more.

So tempted to dump all my Tether into Dot, 250 Dot on the portfolio would look real nice not to mention the 14% APY staking on Binance

Well if you got in Eth real early I'm sure that more than makes up for it lol.

In all honesty I put in very little into ALGO. I put in $1000 and my brother put in another $1000. We do all the crypto stuff together.

Rewards are crazy right now it's at 53% APY, you will be whaling it eventually by just hodling in the staking pool.

It's really not that difficult to do the steps and worth putting a bit of time to do it since the rewards are so huge.

I made a post about it on a previous thread

Basically just send your API3 to a compatible wallet like Metamask.
Metamask is easy to use as there is only one wallet address for all coins so send the API3 there.

Then you go to the metamask browser tab and paste this link inside the wallet which is the staking page

https://api3.eth.link/

Then when it opens up click connect wallet and then deposit your tokens and stake them.

You need a bit of ETH in the wallet also for the transaction fees but it shouldn't amount to more than about $5.

That’s what I’m doing. My only regret now is not buying 5 times as much. Somehow I got lucky and bought my API3 when it was near its lowest recently. I’ve already made 2.5x and that’s not with the staking.

Yeah I went in very heavy with API3 and this alone can carry a portfolio.

This is whats great about having a bit of knowledge. With all of the hype out there about Link and the large market cap, this is a project that is basically better in every way technologically with 1/10th the total supply and 1/5th of the price currently.
It's a failsafe super earner, and with these staking rewards I will be scared to imagine what my portfolio might look like in a year.

Might even be able to afford that second hand Lambo or two.
