Quite confident. He's done it and now thinks with that knowledge Reis can do it to.

Reis doesn't have Cruz's size advantage though, but he has fought at featherweight on multiple occasions.

Cruz is pretty accurate. I think he's way off on this choice though.

I disagree. He's been fighting for a while and has a very solid record, and his losses are all to ranked guys. Bisping was a considered a gatekeeper a year ago. Reis' division is new, but if FLW and BW had been around as long as MW had, Reis would be as much a fixture in the UFC as Bisping. He's been fighting top competition for years. His win would be no more an upset than Bisping's either IMO. If anyone's not in the same league, it's Demetrious as compared to the champs my examples beat.

I was just joking anyway -- I'm not superstitious. It is a funny year for this stuff though, and this would cap off the weirdness nicely.

He doesn't do anything better than Johnson though and it is FLW where one punch doesn't end a fight, especially from Reis. He is incredibly one dimensional as a fighter and he will not be able to get DJ to the ground to work that dimension.

This guy was ranked 13 in a shallow division before being bumped to 8 when the fight was announced. Shittiest title fight ever, probably worst opponent ever. I was watching Reis get whipped in Bellator, and anybody who beat Reis MM would defeat easily. Waste of a fight merely another weak ass win to close in on Anderson's record.

Yeah it's kinda weird he(MM) would bitch about a FLW tournament on TUF for his belt but except this match up with no argument.
 
A +750 underdog is what Vegas has Reis at. $100 best might be worth it for betting sake.

If you think an upset is impossible then you are watching the wrong form of entertainment. MM is likely the winner but you can't ever be surprised by upsets.
