...and people want to deny goat status
I'm just glad he came back to win the title again. No one would have predicted that when he got injured after Mizugaki.I feel Cruz is the kind of fighter we'll appreciate the most when he's gone.

Can't weight to appreciate him later.I feel Cruz is the kind of fighter we will appreciate the most when he's gone.
Best striker in MMA history is Anderson Silva. There isn't even a comparison, when you look at the stats. Cruz doesn't even come close. As for grappling, I also wouldn't put Cruz on GSP's level. If you look at them statistically, GSP has a higher Strike accuracy percentage, as well, much higher Take Down percentage, more takedowns landed on average. Cruz is good, but GSP and Anderson Silva are the GOAT's of their respective divisions, and are better statistically in virtually every way.
Yea, I think the majority will realize how good he actually is once he's retired.
Not saying that people are calling him a can, but I think he's getting overlooked among the other top fighters. But maybe that's just me.
:>
As the biggest TJ fan in here...Frankie Edgar might have GSP level grappling
I don't think anyone at 135/145 has terrific striking outside of TJ
Cruz pretty much just played dodge the whole time

Best striker in MMA? I don't even think he's the best striker in his division. In a pure striking match TJ beats him 9/10 times imo.
