Social CRT (Critical Race Theory) Megathread, Vol.1

I did my “Re-learn Racism” class for work other day and it was a joke. Even the manager said he didnt know why we are going through this training but to just go through it with an open mind as it is “different” LoL

That's been the conservative strategy for almost a century.

Call efforts to balance the scales "just more racism".

MLK called it out many times.
Yep. This is also pointed out by the law professor in the article.

“Reform itself creates its own backlash, which reconstitutes the problem in the first place,” Crenshaw said, noting that she’d made this argument in her first law-review article, in 1988. George Floyd’s murder had led to “so many corporations and opinion-shaping institutions making statements about structural racism”—creating a new, broader anti-racist alignment, or at least the potential for one. “This is a post-George Floyd backlash,” Crenshaw said. “The reason why we’re having this conversation is that the line of scrimmage has moved.”

As she saw it, the campaign against critical race theory represented a familiar effort to shift the point of the argument, so that, rather than being about structural racism, post-George Floyd politics were about the seminars that had proliferated to address structural racism.

Lol at @HOLA .

A guy gives the actual slides and documents from corporate race indoctrination, but some loser on the karate forum did say "chud", so that's pretty much as good as a rebuttal.

<{MingNope}>

Indoctrination. You give the word a stupid meaning. Training is just that, training. I do compliance training not to take bribes or do business with NK, should it be called indoctrination? Come back when you understand the words you are using.

Why do you idiots keep using these right wing talking points about “white is bad”? My god no wonder you all are a fucking mess. Your selected news tells you everyday you are a bad person because their corporate interests do not want to see equality or are fearful of changing demographics.

I have not once hear the US tell me that I am bad. I’ve heard that the US did some shitty things in the past which should be acknowledge.

Nazi killed a lot of Jews and we should always learn from their mistakes of allowing someone like Hitler to rise to power. I can tell you that every time I hear about the Holocaust I don’t personally feel guilty or that I’m bad even though the Germans were white. The shit that happened decades ago is on our ancestors, not us.

The only way you should feel bad is if you practice racism, which it appears a number of the WR righties do.

Odd, this chud just had a whole article written about him in The New Yorker. Guess he's a rising star in Chudland. Never heard of him until recently. Apparently he's been all over TV.

This made up controversy over CRT, a legal theory only taught in universities is just another product of the conservative outrage factory. It's a way to keep their base riled up and itching to get to the polls in 2022, it's also a way to bring white suburban voters especially the college educated who have been running away from the Republican party back into the fold.

Agreed. We would also likely agree that Republicans during that time should have called it out as it would have sped up the speed equality progressed rapidly.

So all that considered, where are the Democrats calling this out? From what I have seen they seem to support racist teachings as long as they are on the winning side of it. I would argue that repeatedly telling an individual, or these days kids, that "white bad, white bad, white bad" until they eventually believe it is not too dissimilar from what we have seen in reverse.

I don't think you understood what I meant.

And white kids aren't being taught they're evil.

He invented a new revenue stream to monetize right wing culture war agitation. Innovation in grifting science.

Honest question here. Isn't equity just another term for socialism?

What you're able or willing to do doesn't matter because everyone gets the same in the end.

Will equity be enforced across the enormous disparity of wealth between politicians and their constituents? Or is it equal outcomes for everyone but the elites, they have a superior outcome every time.

I don't think you understood what I meant.

And white kids aren't being taught they're evil.

Maybe I didn't, feel free to clarify.

And racism is racism, regardless of color. For accuracy's sake, teaching people, and yes kids and adults, that this group of people are so much more unfairly advantaged than you, and how they can do so many more things by simply being white, is pretty much the nonsense we are at now. It's not just racist but also counterproductive to the intent of unity. The more this stuff is forced in work, school, media, etc, it is going to cause more racism from everyone.

in·doc·tri·na·tion
/inˌdäktrəˈnāSHən/

noun
  1. the process of teaching a person or group to accept a set of beliefs uncritically.
You're welcome. It's not a coincidence that it's targeted at impressionable kids and forced on people under threat of professional harm, and you all follow the same deny, deflect, lash out pattern ofva kids whose mom just walked in on him jerking off.

how many lives must this completely fabricated moral panic ruin before we as Americans fight back against the tyranny of learning about stuff

In the future, America will be nothing but endless granite monuments to the many victims of CRT. Bleak!

So a pretty wide swath of America is attempting to address what they perceive as an issue in racial dynamics. Then we have a subset of the population who is insistent that said issue doesn't exist or that if said issue does exist, nothing should be done about it.

Here's what jumped out to me...

These naysayers tend to be the same subset of the population who also said there's no Covid issue and even if there a Covid issue, nothing needs to be done about it. They did this even though a pretty wide swath of the world was attempting to address what they perceived as a health issue.

Is anyone else wondering what the ramifications are when you have a subset of the population who outright denies the reality that everyone else acknowledges? Wild stuff.

This fabricated moral panic of CRT will destroy the lives of millions of real Muricans, that is until the next fabricated moral panic comes along.

Raytheon is for the equitable distribution of dead civilians after they’ve been blown up by Raytheon brand munitions.

Lol yes CRT was some innocent system that the conservatives came by and messed everything up! I’m not sure how you even think that. The left clearly has a brain worm and it’s getting worse.

Ok sure. Does being shamed for your race, and being told that you have privilege that is based solely upon your race? Yeah that’s not related to taking bribes It also has nothing to do with following non discrimination laws. There isn’t a need for this. And yes it is a form of indoctrination, as employees can’t just opt out or even freely disagree. So they have to sit and take it. Meanwhile you guys fly the BLM flag. So yes, employees are being forced into this and from what the companies present, it’s clear that dissent won’t be tolerated.
Seriously you’re a shill’s shill here

Oh like white supremacy and systematic racism? Only those aren’t real at all meanwhile CRT has books in kid’s school right now being taught.
