Here's my opinion: The Saudi military is firmly under MBS' control, they ain't gonna do jack.

His thread was actually quite informative, i didnt knew that the Saudi military and the national guard were two different bodies and that the national guard is comprised of tribal loyalties and that the Saudi dynasty is a power sharing agreement of several tribes either.

absolute monarchy is about the only way to get sweeping reforms done with out having to deal with assholes in some congress that dont want to change. Yes. Most of all the major legislative initiatives of the last 10 years have been half assed. Obama care is a prime example. It is the epitome of halfassed. Yay! everyone has insurance now!!! To bad the deductibles make every plan the poor have unusable now, but ignore that, we have insurance for all!! Either go full on national, single payer or dont do it all.

You mention all sorts of institutions are congressional acts, well they are bullshit and halfassed.. A countless, endless horde of alphabet soup agencies spending hundreds of billions a year on wasteful nothingness.. Perfect example is the 17 intelligence agencies.. How many untold billions would that save if they were condensed into one...
