If you start good mornings light (You can start with just the bar), progress very gradually, and use good technique, there's no reason you should injure yourself.
Depending on the routine, you could replace GMs with another PC exercise.

I feel after deadlifts my lower back will already be quite exhausted so fear that I will go sloppy with goodmornings, but maybe I should just try learn them.
Start light, and try and learn them. As long as you start light - which you should with good mornings - they'll be no issue. Do them with just the bar the first time, keep the back tight and try to really load the hamstrings. By the time they get heavy, you'll be used to doing them after deadlifts.
