I think the fact that he lost to an (extremely improved!) Ortega, when most, me included, thought he'd run through him, hurt his stock, though i find it hard to tell you, to which extent exactly.

I think you're right in that he seems to be super rarely discussed as a potential opponent currently, though this might have also to do with the fact that most eyes are on Alex, Max and Yair right now, with the former two being ahead of everyone.

Not to mention Giga, Who generates has generate a huge buzz with his win over edson, who had a huge buzz from his amazing fight with burgos

One of my favorite fighters, I hope to see him again soon.
I always thought he needs to develop his takedown & ground game though, he always seems to stand stiffy in front of opponents and use his boxing.
Leading to being pieced up by Ortega, Yair, and he would likely get destroyed by Max & Volk.

Still one of my favorite fighters.

He's not a Zombie anymore. He may have one or two fights left, after that he's probably taking the Frankie Edgar path.

Unfortunately that may be true. Especially considering the opposition he has to face.

He has lost a little something in his style since Yiar slept him with that last second elbow. It's probably something mental but he definitely lost something important after that fight.
