Yeah, you're probably on an island with your admiration of Morrison's work in front of the camera, but glad you enjoyed it.

I thought Mr. T was fantastic as Clubber Lang. That guy had some real personality, and was Emperor Palpatine level "evil for the sake of being evil" but I believed him as a human being.

Apollo Creed was a fantastic character with great depth (though he had the benefit of a four-movie arc to show this).

I agree that there was nothing really to Dixon and Conlan. I got more of a feel for both Thunderlips and Spider Rico as people.

In my own defense, Tommy Gunn was a very believable character to me. It's easy to believe a guy with mental problems who was down on his luck for so long would sell out the guy who got his foot in the door to take the money deal.

To me, there was no depth to Clubber. You never learned why Clubber became the big dick that he was.

I thought Tommy Gunn was written well enough in broad strokes. I thought Tommy Morrison was just in a little over his head with a character of that size.

I didn't need to know Clubber's origins for acting the way he did. Whatever they were, Mr. T made me feel like they were a real part of who he was.

Sage Northcutt Wants to Play Ivan Drago's Son in CREED Sequel

Sylvester Stallone has teased that former Rocky foe Ivan Drago (Dolph Lundgren) will appear in the planned Creed sequel. And should that mean the character has a son, one MMA fighter is angling for the part.

Sage Northcutt has repeatedly put himself forward for the theoretical role as Drago’s son on social media, and recently said in an interview with MMAFighting.com that he recorded an audition tape.

“The new ‘Creed 2’ movie is coming out so I was actually going to audition for that,” Northcutt said. “Got a little audition tape, so hopefully that goes through. That would be pretty neat. Being Ivan Drago’s son in the movie? That would be pretty fun.”

“Sylvester Stallone seems like a really cool guy, and Dolph Lundgren seems awesome,” he continued. “I think me and Mr. Dolph Lundgren look kind of alike.”

The sequel to the 2015 Rocky spinoff, listed as Creed II on IMDb, will star Michael B. Jordan as Adonis Creed (son of Carl Weathers’ Apollo Creed from the original films), Stallone as Rocky Balboa, and Lundgren as Drago. It is slated for release by MGM and Annapurna Pictures on Nov. 21, 2018.

Creed was directed by Ryan Coogler, and was written by Coogler and Aaron Covington. Stallone earned an Oscar nomination and won a Golden Globe for reprising his role as Rocky Balboa in the film.

Well he looks the part, I doubt he could pull it off acting wise though.

I could see that working if he can fake an accent well.

Jeez Louise...

This is as good as an admission of PED use isn't it? <45>

I would love for Sage to play the son of Drago. That would be absolutely perfect casting. They could even keep his speaking in the film to a minimum if his acting wasn't up to par.

Is Tessa Thompson going to be back for this movie?

I hope not. She's a terrible fucking actress.

and people hate Sage now, just wait til hes the son of the guy who killed Apollo

I don't know how you can criticize Tessa Thompson's acting in the same post where you recommend casting Sage Northcutt.
