You can make the ballerina change direction, concentrating on the foot and imagine its turning the opposite way and it does (for me)

If I blink rapidly I can get the dancer to spin counter clockwise. Otherwise she only goes clockwise.

Yep. Not sure how long you looked at it, but if you keep staring and they will continue to disappear and reappear in weird patterns.

For me if the dancer is spinning one way I can do math problems in my head and she will switch directions. Then I can try to picture her as a certain color to get her to change to the other direction.
