Could you take CM Punk?

I'm 6ft3 so I'd easily destroy anyone in WW and below.

Hahaha. Waw delusional sherbros are the best

The man thinks he detroys the likes of wonderboy, rory, lawler and maia. Lmao

No shit, i would pay good money to see you get slapped around by them

PS: if you were trolling you got me hahaha

Nope, look what he did to a former UFC Heavyweight Champion.

No.

But I could get on my bike and 30-27 him no problem.

Would receive lots of boos i imagine. But I'll tell the crowd off in my post fight speech with Rogan.

Throw a few really low leg kicks in for good measure. Keep feinting the jab for 15 minutes straight while you back peddle continuously.

In a sanctioned MMA fight, probably not. I'm only a bit bigger than him after his weight cut (about 5'11 195lbs), the dude's been training BJJ for many years, and I think he was training in Muay Thai for a few years even when he was in WWE; and now he's been training at Roufusport for the last, what, 2 years? I've dabbled in training here and there, enough to hold my own, but nowhere near as much as Punk has and not with the level of talent Punk has trained with. I'm sure I could put up a fight but I think he'd ultimately beat me.

He would choke me out without even putting the hooks in. (just to make me look like a noob)

It's incredible how much guys overrate their own ability. Just because you took a few boxercise classes doesn't make you Mike Tyson. Just because you have slowrolled a few times doesn't make you Marcelo Garcia. Most in here would wilt after the first punch. As bad as CM Punk might look, guaranteed +90% of Sherdog are worse.

I like my chances. I have a reach, size and Muay Thai advantage over him

HOWEVER..

He's about to climb into the octagon of his own free will and fight a guy. I'll be at home, like everyone else on this thread, watching it so instead of dissing him I'm going to give him the respect of doing something I'm not doing.

I played baseball back in high school and could bat decently. If I can land a clean one on him, I think I might hurt him but I wouldn't bet on that since he is a lot stronger than me and has actually trained. Plus, he beat up giants like Paul Wigh, who has also trained MMA. However, I think I stand a chance at taking out Mighty Mouse more. The guy's too small, even smaller than the size of my sister's lab. Sure, I have never wrestle before and he could probably take me down but I don't think he could hurt me. I might be the one hurting him from the bottom. That's my take.

Yeah, I could beat him. Got way more training under me than he has. You go into just about any half-decent gym and you'll find loads of lower level guys who would be the favorite to beat him.

And no, training with Duke Rofus for 18 months or whatever hasn't made Punk some sort of killer.
If you don't think that kind of dedicated training can make a huge difference I don't know what to tell you. I've seen guys with years of training who I could outstrike come out of a long dedicated camp and be much better. Speed, endurance, combos, defense, instinct. Everything.

I'd snap my fingers above my head and at the same time kick him in the nuts. Game over, son!

Oh, I'm not saying dedicated training isn't going to jump you up a lot quicker. I mean, someone who trains 6 days a week for 2 years is obviously going to shoot up quicker than someone doing 2 days a week.

When I said lower level guys I didn't really mean people who have only been training part-time for a year or anything. I've got close to 8 or 9 years and most of that was 4+ days a week. Someone like me is going to beat CM Punk and I think that's to be expected.

For the record I give him massive respect and he does seem like a nice guy. If I was his age and in his position I know I wouldn't be trying to fight in the UFC, but hats off to him for putting his money where his mouth is.

No

Im not a delusional keyboard warrior. Most high level amateurs could probably kick my ass. Why would I think I could take someone who's been training at the highest level for two years with a top camp and has been sparring/rolling with world champion mma fighters?

Quit acting tough you fuckin asshats

from the lack of hand eye coordination don't really think he can take anything LOL

I would actually bet on a random sherdog username instead of him after watching his training
