Could RDA eat Conor's shots like Nate did?

He, along with Nate, are up there for having consistently fought high level comp and two of the longest resume lists of fights.

RDA has been KO'd once, ONCE in his first damn UFC fight which he was winning, where Jeremy Stephens, a well known KO artist threw an uppercut that literally was wound up from behind his back. Aside from a broken jaw stoppage, RDA has never been TKO'd since his first UFC fight. Nate has also proved himself durable having a KO loss to Josh, but he's been hurt way more times than RDA. RDA mauled Nate. RDA mauled Pettis. You're desperately looking for something right now, I get it, but stop.

Conor got finished in 2 rounds against a guy that until yesterday wasn't even top 5, a so called B level LW, who fought on 10 days notice.

RDA ate Pettis' shots like he does his groceries. I doubt he would have had much trouble tonight.

No, I can't think of many people who have the chin the Diaz brothers have, aside from like Robbie Lawler or heavyweights.

The only thing RDA hurt Nate with was leg kicks. He didn't one time stun Diaz or even do the damage Conor did to Diaz tonight.

I dont think so. I dont think rda coulda gotten connor down before running into an uppercut or left.

I don't think so.

Guess what, real life isn't like a video game.

Gustafsson can fight like an equal against Cormier, but can't do that against Johnson. But Cormier can dominate Johnson.

Miesha can best Holly, but can't beat Ronda, who can't beat Holly.

Beyond all the labelling and tagging that you people do cause you're some lazy mofos, life isn't all that simple.

good question. this is why it was a dangerous fight. would those shots have taken out rdo. who knows. rdo went a decision with diaz.
RDA would have laughed at that shit in the process of breaking Conor's lead leg with kicks.

... ignoring the fact that dos Anjos is significantly larger than Diaz, I see.

Conor can take a shot tho....RDA has his blitz. I think Conor would fair better against a blitz then a volume puncher like Diaz. It wasnt one shot that took out Conor. Conor believed in his power to much and learned a lesson. He cant load up on every shot. He gassed and was overwhelmed by Diaz volume and got tagged a lot.
^^^^^^^this guy gets it.

RDA>Nate>Conor
Conor was overrated and hyped. I wanted to believe in Mcgregor, but is was a nightmare matchup with a real BJJ black belt Nate Diaz.

He is not known for power but he puts a lot of guys on queer street. The snap on his punches are very misleading...doesnt look like much but him and his brother put a beating on people. Volume and accuracy. I think its a different fight with RDA....He lunges in could get caught. I do not know that RDA would be able to take the shots as well as Diaz. Would be interesting.
Very well put my friend.

What exactly am i looking for? A discussion about mma? I have stated over and over that overall RDA is a better martial artist imo than Conor and that Im a huge Diaz fan and wanted him to win tonight. So what am i looking for?

It is not super far fetched that Conor would tag RDA I think the matchup is completely different from the one that was tonight. Diaz takes shots well and was curious to see what people thought about RDA taking those shots. Aldo had also never been koed so that means nothing. RDA style is closer to Aldos than Diaz. Not going to use MMA math but giving you an example of someone with a similar skillset getting caught.

And the BJJ isnt even what got Conor in trouble. That was just the cherry on top. It was the boxing. If Nate would have stood up and let Conor up he would have inevitably tkod him. Conor had nothing left. His punches were coming in slower and weaker by that point he was gassed.

So what point are you trying to make with that? He still beat Nate down in an easy, lopsided fight, the very same guy who beat Conor on 10 days notice in a back and forth fight where Conor got finished within 2 rounds. The real question should be how long do you think Conor can last on the ground against RDA considering what Nate did to him there.

Obviously anything is possible, especially with Conor's striking, but if RDA can beat down Pettis, KO Bendo, another fighter who happened to drop Nate striking and then mauled him for 5 rounds, and other top LWs then he gets the benefit of the doubt. Especially after what we just saw.

RDA is kind of famous for eating shots these days.

Smashed his way though Pettis with ease and Cerrone twice with even more ease. Took all Nate could dish out too, unlike Conor.

RDA wrecks strikers. He always has. The only guys who ever gave him trouble had wrestling backgrounds.

is this a joke? rda would obliterate mcgregor cmon now lolol. rda has insane cardio, cheating level cardio acording to a good part of sherdog... eats kicks to the face and keeps coming, diaz didnt have time to prepare and still put him away, rda with a full training camp at the level he is atm, would obliteterate cononr in 1 round, rda punches kicks much harder than nate, has just as good ground game also has better takedowns and is faster has better standup defense as well. Connor has no business fighting at 155 he could be a top 10 155 fighter i guess, but loses to bendo diaz, cerrone, rda, pettis and some others. he fought a 155 fighter with 10 days notice at 168/169 pounds they had 1pound diference without weight cuting and got finished.

I doubt it. Nate was pretty fucked up.
