Could history repeat itself?

This saturday we have a chance at seeing history repeat itself..when max tries and beats khabib for the lw title..

The history im referring to is bisping and Rockhold..

Bare with me..i know habib isnt lw champ..and max is already a champ unlike bisping was..but there similarities that cant be ignored..

Both bisping and holloway took this fight with just enough time to make weight and neither was training for a fight at the time..

Also bisping and holloway are preparing for a grapple heavy opponents, rockhold for bisping..khabib for holloway..

Neither bisping or holloway are know for devastating power but are more technical volume strikers..


Finally everyone is writing off holloway including khabib, who trained with rockhold when rockhold was still with d.c even going as far as to say he shouldn't of taken the fight just like rockhold said to bisping..

Could habib be setting himself up to be ..

Rockhold tooled Bisping in the first fight. Rockhold got nonchalant and arrogant thinking he could breeze through the fight. Rockhold has a glass chin. Rockhold and Bisping are the same weight class. etc. I see more differences than similarities tbh but writing off someone like Max is crazy. Khabib should have it though.

Holloway fought 155 before..iirc..and weve never seen habib really hit before so his chin level is unknown..and khabib has shown arrogance before in fights as well..non chalant not yet but maybe he will agaisnt max thinking hes just a fw...who knows..but like u said u cant bet agaisnt max

Another potential storyline as well..but i think there more evidence behind my theory then that one..imo
