Could Douglas Lima (future UFC fighter imo) go toe to toe with Buakaw Banchamek in a leg kick war?

After having seen Douglas Lima devastate so many mma fighters with some of (if not) the most brutal leg kicks I've ever seen, I was wondering how things would go down if he had a kickboxing or muy thai fight against the legendary Buakaw? I know Buakaw's bread and butter is striking, however I really think Lima could hold his own and maybe even hurt Buakaw's legs owing to the size and power advantage.

Your thread is shit
And let me guess, you are going to report it because that's what you bully's do on Sherdog, try to get threads sent to the wasteland just because you don't approve. Thug.

Because someone with a Mike Perry avatar said so? Guy isn't exactly the Ernesto Hoost of MMA

No, not because of that, because of the fact that Douglas Lima is a mediocre MMA fighter, not a professional Muay Thai fighter, and Buakaw is one of the best.

Pretty sure he won't need to report it. It will sort itself.

I'm going with Buakaw

A leg kick war? Is that like thumb wars? Are they literally only allowed to kick each others legs? How about some leg kicks to the head? Would they be Ok?

How is he mediocre? He is easily one of the top strikers in MMA, and I do acknowledge Buakaw is a beast in his game, but looking at Douglas Lima's kicks compared to Buakaws, both look similar in power. Buakaw fights smaller fighters as well.

LOL. You know what I mean dude, I meant if they stood toe to toe in a kickboxing match :)

Who knows but Id watch. When an unstoppable force Meets an immovable object. Someone's legs will never be the same.

He is mediocre because he isn't in the big leagues. He wouldn't have sniffed a title shot in the UFC.

Leg kicks are much more integral part of Muay Thai than they are in MMA. Conor has good hands for an MMA fighter, what happened when he fought Floyd who is top level in a sport where hands are more of an emphasis? That is what a kickboxing match between Lima and Buakaw would look like.

Lol, if they were to go toe-to-toe in a kickboxing match... Lima would get destroyed.

NO, or any other experienced Thai fighter. They grow up doing that, conditioning shins, etc. Question shows considerable ignorance of Muay Thai.

It's Conor vs Floyd all over again.
