It seems Dave Tirelli is also a coach at Tiger Schulman's gym. He has a long history of judging. So it's not likely this can be attributed to sheer incompetence.

It seems like a case of corruption. There's no way anyone can judge this four rounds for Costa, it's unbelievable.

I can see your point but it wasn't just that fight in isolation. That bloke was an absolute shambles all night. That doesn't explain the rest of them. Has he got a history of decisions this shithouse?

The fix was in that's why the commentary team started talking about how maybe Paolo won after the fourth. Motive is gambling. They got told in their headsets to prep the audience for the fix.

However Strickland's 5th round make it too crazy and they changed course and let him win.

Normal shit.

of course it's corruption. every event, there's always one major bullshit decision and nothing ever happens. it's all so tiring. there's too much money riding on these fights, on the "oddsmakers," the betting services and you think they can't get one judge in their back pocket? That the government has never been corrupt? That an athletic commission wouldn't have some people with less than honorable intentions? It's all the same shit, every time. Outcry, anger, rinse and repeat for the next event. Nothing ever happens.

Normal shit...as in, things like this are usually written on a wall in shit.

New Jersey mafia paid off that judge to give Costa a winning score card so the casinos wouldn't have to pay out Strickland by unanimous decision / -5.5 bets.

Or "you're".

He’s trying to figure out which of the two yours should be you’re. For me, the worst grammar offenders are the ones that say ‘should of’ instead of ‘should have’ . The former could be attributed to quick and lazy typing, but the latter? That’s basic high school learning.

It's 1000% betting related.

It was the co main with a lock main (even though the fight did turn out close), you know how many big parlays they probably busted making it a split decision instead of a unanimous decision? Sportsbooks make money off people losing bets. It's really not hard to ascertain that they got big sponsorship deals with the UFC and they both work with eachother to maximize profits.

This is why this sports betting shit gets annoying, it creeps into commentary too and idiots start actually believing room-temperature nitwits like DC and Rogan.
