The real realization he should have taken from that fight is, that he is not some high level striker and actually make use of his grappling more which would work better with his body type.
He hits harder than average a little bit but he isn't some KO artist but he fights like he has Ngannou power, I think he is too narcissistic to realize that tho.

Never called for Khamzat to be cut (Actually maybe I did when he gave the middle finger to the fans after missing weight) but currently, my claim is that he just doesn't deserve a title shot. In terms of progression, Chimaev has a lot of potential going on for him, as for Costa? Well, he brings nothing to the table other than UFC drama and stupid Secret Juice videos, fightwise he also barely made it against a departing Rockhold. Costa belongs in the B-leagues and that is eventually to where he is going. His decline is obvious.

Nah Sherbro, it is about Costa being a horrible professional, a diva to get fights going, overall underskilled to be in the UFC and cringe af with the content he puts out. The content part must be a Cejudo entourage thing where they all compete on who is the cringiest..

Meh this sounds more like a personal hate towards Costa than anything. To say he's underskilled and deserves to be cut is a bit disingenuous. Hes currently ranked #5. Are guys like Strickland, Hermanson, and Chris Curtis underskilled and should be cut too? I'd favor Costa against those guys.
