I love Cory’s style, it’s so entertaining. It’s so fun I end up rooting for his opponent by the end of it.

Cory's offensive wrestling I think is an indirect result of all the focus he's put on his defensive wrestling. For Umar preparation he was working with his wrestling coach, a D1 wrestler turned MMA fighter that was 5'8 and a couple Tajik Sambo practitioners. Also in the past it was the lack of wrestling that cost him vs Aljo, Emmers and Dillashaw. The reality is most fighters in the UFC have dog shit wrestling defense and just never have to face good wrestlers so they don't get exposed. UFC doesn't sign many wrestlers anymore. Why be angry at Cory? You should be angry at Font, couldn't do a fucking thing off his back vs a lanky striker.

Nothing to blame Cory for, Font has decent defensive BJJ ad tbh that was the only thing he had, not for Sandhagen, but for himself. He would die otherwise.
