Im stupid because im not panicking about the coronavirus? I said it should be taken seriously, but I am not worried about it. What exactly is stupid about that statement?

You can go hide under your bed if it makes you feel better. Ill continue living my life as I always have. Ive looked over all the data and im confident in my analysis.
Saying it should be taken seriously but you’re not worried makes zero sense, reading just some of the ridiculous non precautions many governments are taking should have you worried about it. When the cdc says person to person transmission is likely in the USA it’s gonna get bad.

It makes perfect sense if you're not an imbecile. Precautions are good, but just because countries are taking precautions, that does not mean you should panic.

Obviously person to person transmission is likely, that literally means nothing. Coronavirus has an R0 of 4, which means the average person will spread it to 4 other people.

Im supposed to be scared because the cdc said human to human transmission in the us is likely? Well no shit. Thanks for stating the obvious.

I assume you are prepared then. It sounds like you have it all figured out.

Do you think I care about what some low IQ poster thinks about me?

The biggest threat here is if the virus mutates into something more deadly. The Chinese infected list is massively inflated due to the changing of diagnostic procedures.

In china, you don't need to test positive for coronavirus to be diagnosed with coronavirus, because of the shortage of testing kits.

As of now, if you have flu like symptoms, you will be administered a chest xray. If that chest xray comes back with signs of pneumonia, you will be diagnosed with coronavirus. The problem with this method is that you don't need to have coronavirus to have pneumonia, you can get it from the regular flu or other illnesses. Thus, the data put out is not accurately representative of how many cases there truly is in China.

RIP San Francisco...

Beat me to it.

Also...

Being a former healthcare (USAF Pharmacy) professional, I thought it was incumbent on me to say this about hand washing.

I was in a movie theatre a few weeks back and as I was washing up in the bathroom, I saw 3 people use the urinal and go straight to the door without washing their hands.

What I always do in a public place after washing up is NEVER touch the door handle after washing up. I always use paper towels or my shirt/jacket sleeve. If the dispenser has a handle, I'll rip off my paper towels first, put them between my knees, wash up, then I don't have to use the handle that people have grimed over.

I said non precautionary attitude from governments . Of course real precautions are excellent but they aren’t being done .

There are 34 people who have tested positive for coronavirus in the United States, according to an announcement Friday by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

This includes 21 cases among repatriated individuals, as well as 13 US cases.

"We are keeping track of cases resulting from repatriation efforts separately because we don't believe those numbers accurately represent the picture of what is happening in the community in the United States at this time," Dr. Nancy Messonnier, director of the CDC's National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases, told reporters Friday.

It's the opposite. Cases are vastly underestimated because asymptomatic and mild cases never present to the hospital. It's the 20% of more serious cases who are being counted. Also I don't know in what universe you live in that thousands of people just happen to show up with pneumonia to... Wuhan hospitals, of all places, pneumonia isn't that common - it's obviously the virus. You're ignoring logic to fit things into your narrative. We're not even getting into the probably cooked Chinese numbers.

But what about the West's burgeoning love of the butt sex?

Agreed. The only reason they found the cases in Italy was because they were already in critical condition and admitted to the ICU. By that time, they had already spread it around plenty.

Similar to Iran, where they announced the epidemic after the confirmed two cases died literally hours after being confirmed.

Sacramento County reports first case of coronavirus in resident who visited China

Sacramento County reported its first case of novel coronavirus in a traveler who had gone to China, bringing the number of cases in the United States to 17. Rural Humboldt County had reported on Thursday that it had a case on Thursday.

The individual returned to the United States from China on Feb. 2, Sacramento County officials said, and the individual took precautionary measures during travel and has self-quarantined since returning. The individual has so far shown no symptoms, health officials said.

“Cases in the U.S., including this first case in Sacramento County, have primarily been travel-related,” said Dr. Peter Beilenson, Sacramento County Department of Health Services Director. “The risk of COVID-19 to the U.S. public continues to be low. Sacramento County health providers are continuing to be vigilant, monitoring for acute respiratory illness, and gathering recent travel information to detect any new COVID-19 cases.”

Im not ignoring logic. The flu can and does cause pneumonia. 1/3rd of all pneumonia cases are caused by respiratory infections. There are many different respiratory infections. Some of these infections, like the common flu, are much more common than coronavirus. Thus, its not crazy to assume many of these positive tests can be attributed to other illnesses. You can also develop pneumonia from bacterial infections and fungi. Many illnesses often present themselves with flu like symptoms in the initial stages.

It would be very easy under this criteria to misdiagnose.

Thus, Miss Diagnose will take care of you shortly, Dr. Big Brain.

This sudden spike in pneumonia during a severe epidemic is just the flu bro, as Miss Diagnose proved.

You're a living meme bruvva, keep going with your epic Facts and Logic
