Law Coronavirus the US GOV'T Response analysis Thread v2

I'll ask again since I didn't get a response last time, what are people basing the assumption that hospitals won't get flooded if we reopen off of? Maybe it won't happen, but what are you basing that off of, the fact that they didn't while there was a lockdown? We know of specific examples of a bunch of people getting infected in situations where someone was infected and they were in a large group close together like on cruise ships or churches, so why do you assume infections wouldn't skyrocket if the whole country went completely back to normal?

BREAKING

CDC Documents showed that they warned Trump about Europe on Feb 25, Trump didnt relay the message until March 11
"We've been muzzled," said a current CDC official. "What's tough is that if we would have acted earlier on what we knew and recommended, we would have saved lives and money."

It took Trump 2 weeks to send out the message.

In a sane world that would make the next election all but a moot point. Such an incredible level of incompetence from absolutely any of the sycophants in leadership positions that inhabit Trump's cabinet.

The right wingers will be silent on this one in the same way they were silent about Trump cutting off benefits for military members a day early.

Less fear of the sniffles?

His ineptitude is quite literally killing masses of people.

I remember when Bush was first elected too... people would say "eh... seems like a guy I could have a beer with. What's the worst that could happen?"

It's insane there's such a large portion of the active voting population in the US that really doesn't think who the president is matters.

"That's funny, considering it's mortality rate is far lower. You do know that that influenza's numbers DWARF the Coronavirus right? Stay afraid though, sheep."

"You don't know what the actual mortality rate is. When all is said and done, yes, it will be similar to that of the flu which we deal with all the time."

https://www.washington.edu/news/202...in-us-among-those-infected-who-show-symptoms/
"The national rate of death among people infected with the novel coronavirus — SARS-CoV-2 — that causes COVID-19 and who show symptoms is 1.3%, the study found. The comparable rate of death for the seasonal flu is 0.1%.

“COVID-19 infection is deadlier than flu — we can put that debate to rest,” said study author Anirban Basu, professor of health economics and Stergachis Family Endowed Director of the CHOICE Institute at the UW School of Pharmacy."

And to think, you could've just accepted the information received a few months ago, and you wouldn't have to make a fool of yourself every time you speak in your catty manner.

"They are treating this like the mortality rate is 50%. It's not even 1%.

I repeat, the world has gone retarded."

Speaking from experience, I see.....

And they were pretending as if his complete lack of competence would be remedied by the surely awesome people he'd staff the WH with.

Remember being assured that luminaries from across the board would be scratching and clawing to work with this White House?

Less fear of the sniffles?
So the hospitals that were described as war zones in places like Italy and some parts of New York were just fake news? All the health care workers that have died are just fake news?

Whitehouse shelves CDC guidelines.......................................... again

and here is Trump complaining to re-open churches this morning. So he's ignoring CDC guidelines because Church's are being "disrespected" by Democrats

Why kill off your voting base? I don't get it.

One one end he's playing the Obamagate shit which will get him no voters, is still trying to shore up his base and convince them of the job he's not doing, to say nothing of reaching out to independents. And here he is taking his biggest demographic and turning them into the martyrs they thought they'd be for Jeebus.

Nutbags.

Shit, read the tweets Team Trump is putting out. Claiming Joe Biden is a socialist now? That's some straw grasping.

Its unconstitutional to order churches closed. He could get impeached over telling them to close.

Nobody is saying back to normal completely. Only dumbasses who are scared of heir own shadow day that when someone suggest starting to reopen. It's because they're too stupid to get nuance
