This isn't particularly deadly. After all the fearmongering, we're not seeing anywhere near the amount of deaths that were suggested. The death rate is likely well under 1%. Those who are worried or those who are compromised have the option of staying home and having their essentials delivered to them.

Our nursing homes' death tolls are higher than most nations, and the numbers are still rising while thousands die daily.

Most people are able to hear "If we did nothing it might be a couple million, so great job!!" and realize that the job performed is continuing to be fatally inept.

If the president is going to support the protesters and say they were "very good people", then he should have qualified his statement by denoucing the guys with guns and the battle flag. Not doing so implies he has no problem with those guys. The armed guys and the battle flag waving protester/s were featured on media prominently, so the president obviosuly saw them.
