Yes, like those people also can't believe the entire country of China (1.38 Billion) only had 57 deaths due to the flu in 2018, and 48 deaths in 2019.

Meanwhile, the USA has 12,000 deaths by the flu on the best recent year, the worst year was 80,000 deaths, but an average year is around 56,000.

The scariest thing to me is that the symptoms don't show up for up to 2 weeks. People who have it that aren't aware of it (yet) will spread it around unknowingly to the general populace. The number of people infected will continue to snowball into big numbers. In 1920 the Spanish Flu infected more than 500 million people and killed between 20-100 million. Deadly diseases have been around since forever. I'm not "need to go hide in the woods" scared, more so "holy shit this can potentially kill millions".
