Are those chinese people still locked inside those massive apartment buildings?

Since this has been spreading we seem to have lost the China related posts and videos

Yeah, that was scary. The welding shut of housing complexes? Building after building? Imagine if you were OK but only had a few days food on hand. Then got sealed in. They don't have a big fridge in every house/apartment or anything like that with a stock of fresh food. Those stories freaked me out much more than the virus, to be honest. Yikes.

Wow didn’t take the climate nuts long to latch onto this one eh... is there anything climate change doesn’t cause... obesity maybe too.

I personally never gave much attention to the climate change stuff other than reading and hearing scientists warn us about it. But they have arguments and data we can't ignore. You on the other hand....

Any update on the Pope?

there was speculation that he may have the coronavirus.

I bet it's just a cold/regular flu for him. But who knows, he probably will bless/embrace anyone who approaches, so he could have been exposed, I guess. But at 83 and one full and one partial lung it would be problematic for him. Hell, any of the three would (cold, flu, corona).

Digging around in old ice has been happening for decades with core samples etc I think this scenario is quite unlikely but not impossible. That said when you have a few countries that have insane practices it’s very comical to interject another entity just yet.

I don't really go to mass anymore, used to take my Mom once in a while when she was still alive, but...

As far as Catholics in the US, they don't much care for him. As a matter of fact, many I talk to wish he was gone. The sooner the better.
Before this and not suggesting they will celebrate him getting a virus, but I don't know that I've met a Catholic fan of this pope. He's considered far too liberal for most people's tastes. And too political.

As I said, a virus doesn't need a passport to get in. Just because it started overseas doesn't mean you can't get infected.

There is reason to believe China may be incinerating millions of people. One of their billionaires in exile has claimed the incinerating capacity to do this has been put in place. Videos from Wuhan at night used to show people shouting "Jiyo!" and a couple days ago it was people screaming in agony, and now, it's silent. No more videos from Wuhan at night. We also have videos of people being hauled away. So why would China do this? If the virus comes back again and again, like a herpes sore, and gets worse, then China may have concluded that the only way to get rid of it is to get rid of all infected people. I hope this is not true.

They could be burning the victims because they want to stop the spread if the virus. However, if what the conspiracy theorists are saying is true then they are using 5G to kill off people while blaming the virus, and if that's true they can't let the victims get tested because then it would become obvious that something else killed them.

the 5G conspiracy is too much for me. There’s a limit to how far off the deep end I can go, even just to visit for a minute.
