What does McGregor have to do with this? That is a straw man argument. Jon clearly can kick pretty hard. He leg and body kicked a bunch of fighters hard enough for them to react to it. He body kicked DC enough to hurt him in the first fight. He head kicked DC enough to wobble him badly for the finish.

True one strike ko power is extremely rare and based more on acceleration and placement than anything. I get you're still sore that Conor ko'd your boy but yeah, Conor hits hard. Jon kicks hard as well.
 
Cormier was checking the low kicks against Jones. You just showed examples of low kicks.

Jones also broke OSPs arm with a kick - that was in the fight just prior to KOing Cormier with the same kick. It's pretty stupid to say he doesn't have power in his kicks.

it's not that he doesn't have power, but I think the context made it have more power than it actually has. so now to think that jones has this fearsome kick, I think it's an exaggeration

Jones also broke OSP's arm with a kick. Pretty clear he kicks hard. Pettis/Barboza/Anderson level? No. But his body kicks are brutal.

Don't play semantics. Jon kicked DC in the head pretty hard. Landed hard head kicks on Gus too. Look how many flush punches Gus took on the mat from Rumble yet wasn't ko'd.

I think Jones hinted at it in a presser before their first fight - citing a head kick that Josh Barnett landed at DC - and DC acknowledged it and assured Jones he was aware and working on it.

it was a pretty cool dynamic similar to the ending of their first fight where Jones would bait DC into "sincere" mode only to revert to asshole once DC showed an opening - he is just so much more nasty than DC.
