I would say that its his ego. He believes his own hype

I used to think that would hurt a fighter too. I remember when people were calling Jon jones the Mohammed Ali of mma before he beat everyone in the Lhw worth mentioning. It didn't seem to hurt him tho, so I backed off my stance.

I noticed that as soon as I saw him take that guy's back who was paid to come in and lose and didn't even know how to throw a proper punch. I know he has a name, but I like my description better.
