I'm all for a rematch at lhw/ hw but it won't happen. DC wants easy fights and good paydays and I can't blame him for that.

Gus nearly finished DC with a knee, TKO'd Glover and beat up Jones. I think he'll be fine at HW powerwise.

Yes your chin definitely improves. Look at Whittaker. DC wasnt even a hard puncher at lhw but 250lb DC was koing people in training and also stipe

TKOd a Glover that declined a lot, and it took lot of power punches to achieve it
And did'nt got close to even seriously rock Jones despite so many good punches

You are talking like Gus wouldn't be bigger as well, with better chin and power by your logic. He would fight around 240lbs at HW.

I hate the new UFC.

Its funny how everyone talks about Glover's declining, yet he still have not lost a fight against a non-elite opponent. His losses are vs Gus, Jones, Rumble and Davis, all in their primes. Glover looked to be in great shape vs Gus, he was just outclassed.

In almost five years Gus has gone 3-3, fair enough those losses are against Jones, DC & Rumble but then his wins are Manuwa, Blachowicz & Glover. Plus he's never even fought at HW.

By the time he's in a position to challenge him DC will be retired if he sticks to his current plan. But Gus vs. Jones in a couple of years for the Heavyweight belt sounds like a lot of fun.

Why would the same attributes not increase for Gus with a weight increase as they would with DC?
