What's weird is it was actually illegal to openly carry handguns in TX until recently but it's always been legal to openly carry long guns.

It's still illegal to open carry handguns WITHOUT a license to carry. You can only carry openly after meeting the previous requirements for applying for a concealed handgun license. I hate this misconception that just because open carry law was passed that anybody can legally do it.

It its crazy, I get it though. I understand that there are a lot of people that have been very angry with the police for a very long time. How many misconduct stories do we get per year now? I mean don't get me wrong, these guys are psychopaths, but I get it. Its not a new thing either and I don't mean the shootings. I mean its not new that there are many people who just straight up do not like the police.
