controversial opinion

That's usually how it goes. Either they have no impulse control, or they can't handle the responsibility and discipline of a proper diet.
He got into the Hall.

He's got all kinds of self control about training, just not about food
It's a bit over blown though. He was an undersized heavyweight, it didn't really matter if he put on fat.

The reason why he was a HW wasn't because he liked eating though. He spent a lot of his career at HW because he had hurt himself cutting weight and his doctors told him not too.

DC had medical reasons for why he couldn't cut that much weight, so he was never going to make 185.

If the scale/athletic commission hadn't fucked over Joe Riggs he would have been in a better headspace to annihilate Matt Hughes for the title.
Nah

Even at his best he was losin to guys like Salaverry, and Swick etc

They wouldn't beat prime Cruz or epo tj. They'd have a hard time against cody on his best day.

People have forgotten how amazing that division was when those 3 were at the top.

Dilishaw is probably the most skilled mma fighter I've ever seen .

yeah, he had kidney problems, but i doubt when the doctor told him to "stop cutting weight" they meant "it's ok if you order half the menu at Popeye's". i'm pretty sure being a fatso isn't good for your kidneys either.

it's sad that that's controversial
It isn't, really.

I think Cain Velasquez was overhyped in hindsight and nowhere near the GOAT HW people make him out to be. He was an excellent boxer-wrestler with great cardio, but he was so injury prone that he'll go down as a question mark for me in overall HW rankings.

If you think Petr beats TJ go train boxing and learn about footwork. This will change your opinion.

Islam is obviously ducking Charles. Islam is lucky Charles went for flying knee. Plus we all know how dc|Stipe and Usman\leon went after their first fight. Same would happen to Islam. Not to mention moicano was piecing up Islam on the feet pretty easily.

No wonder why Islam wants to fight 145ers instead.

Yes, I simply believe that on his best day, he's better than Sean, TJ, and Cruz.

But I have real doubts about Sterling. Sterling was probably just better, and the injury in the first fight made him look bad.

Yan won like 7 of 10 rounds vs Aljo. Yan is better, Aljo is lucky.

If Jones wouldn't roid he wouldn't beat DC.

Khamzat performance against Whittaker was great but overrated a little. It wasn't prime Rob but everyone is behaving like it was Rob in his peak.

Same goes for :
Sean vs Izzy and DDP vs Izzy - they both fought Israel at his past prime state.

And many many more examples but this is from top of my head.
