Contender Series 2024 thread

Treating Torrez Finney like rubbish. I thought he deserved a contract last year - he goes out, picks up another W and yet they still want him to re-try for the contender series. Cba.
A couple of times Dana just gives everyone a contract for no reason in one episode and the next episode people who had a better performance do not get one.

I would like to know what the conditions are to get signed, it seems a bit random at times even more than the ONE Baht bonus.

There is no longer any rhyme nor reason to this, which is why I've lost a bit of interest over the past couple seasons. He rewards lacklustre decision wins, then somehow rejects a guy who got a 3rd round finish.

Looks like Eliezer Kubanza is going to be on which is cool.

Every regional show kinda feels like an audition for Contender Series this time of year.

Just finished watch Fury FC. Wouldn't be surprised to see Paris Moran and Yadier DelValle this season.

Aaron Tau will fight for a UFC-contract on September 17:

Link appears to be broken but Tapology says he's fighting Quang Le.

Link works fine for me.
Cool fight :)

I was pretty shocked when they didn't sign him after he fought through adversity and finished a very dangerous opponent.

That season they were signing almost every winner, and I honestly think Dana White did that just to send a message to future contestants that he's still the boss and just winning in impressive fashion isn't enough.

He's extremely short for the division but he's an absolute tank of a man, skilled, a plus athlete, and very, very obviously UFC caliber.

Anyone has news who Dulatov will be fighting?
