First off, I just want to congratulate Conor for being true champ. He could have easily pulled out of the March 5th fight but chose to go up two weight classes and fight a highly experienced fighter who is much bigger than him. He also handled his loss to Nate extremely well (video below).

There was a strong possibility of Conor beating Rafael if they had fought (by knockout in the 1st round). I don't believe that Rafael would have been able to take Conor's shots.

Despite what happened at UFC 196, I'm hoping that Conor and Rafael still fight at UFC 200.

Dream on fanboy

Nothing wrong with recognizing and respecting greatness.

With that said, I have bet three times on UFC fights (Misha over Holly, Nick over Conor and Werdum over Cain). I'm 3 for 3 and I even predicted a 2nd round submission by Nate over Conor. Things can change now based on what happened at UFC 196, but if Conor fought Rafael I believe Conor would have won.

Go and fist yourself you little bender TS. There was no going up two weightclasses and there was no fighting a ''bigger guy''. McQuickTap got his ass handed to him by a drug addict who had 11 days to prepare for the fight.

If that happens you absolutely have to strip conor of the featherweight belt for not defending it.

I sincerely hope that he does not get a shot at the LW belt after being smashed by a guy that wasn't in contention for it.

Okay let's break this down for you. didnt conor say he passed on cerrone because both nate and rafael both beat him ? so how can conor fight rafael after losing to nate a guy who lost to rafael ? conor goes back to 145 beats aldo and or edgar then goes back to 155 for title shot next year.

Hilarious. You had me LOLing at Little Bender.....
But what is with the anger ? You may want to consider some management therapy to contain that. TS is just putting it out there.
Relax, Brother.....

How long are you going to allow Conor to duck Frankie and still hug his nuts?

Lol yeah you predict these tings.
Dos Anjos would have killed McGregor. And this wasn't a real WW fight, just a LW fight without the cut. (So same weight on fightnight).

There was no going up two weightclasses
.

Conor fought Aldo at 145 in December, he fought Nick at 170 in March (that's a difference of two weight classes...).

there was no fighting a ''bigger guy''
.

Nate is much taller and longer than Conor, how was Conor not fighting the bigger guy?

I really hope Conor fights RDA next so he can get beat into a coma.

Conor doesn't even rate to wrap RDA's hands at this point. Diaz took care of that light work. Time for RDA to fight the winner of Khabib vs. El Cu Cuy and put Diaz against Alvarez for #1 contender. Conor is due for his loss to Edgar now at 145.

First of all, he wasn't fighting Nick.

Secondly he was a natural LW bullying FWs who stepped up to WW to face a LW. Get used to seeing him lose. This is just the beginning for Irish Dan Hardy 2.0.
