Crazy how Dana said that Lawler/Conor was the plan if he won tonight. Can you imagine the vicious KO? Just imagine Conor being knocked senseless ala Matt Lindland. Him dropping like a sack of potatoes. Folding like a lawn chair. Getting his clock cleaned.

Conor would've gassed himself trying to break Lawlers chin/will then became slained.
He probably would have a better chance now than before if this fight matures him.

Be like slug trail of ooze crawling out of the octagon .

Lawler, Condit, McDonald, Thomson, Hendrick and countless others would knock this loud mouth braggart and his casual fan base into next year.

Yeah his chances of winning go from 1% to 2%

All those beast at 170 would have raped the fuck out of him....

Mature his ass all the way back to fighting midgets where he looses belt and goes back to Ireland at last. Takes all fans hopefully.

Robbie's my fav but style wise I always thought he was a better match for Conor than a Diaz

If he had trouble with Nate's length and chin then a guy like Condit would kill him.

Reminders:

1. Lawler doesn't have as much height OR reach as Diaz. He isn't the same submission threat. He's also not as good a boxer. He's also taken a lot of damage in recent fights. Lawler's biggest advantage in comparison to Diaz is his superior TDD. And that's irrelevant. He'd only weigh 10 lbs or so more than Diaz did tonight.

2. Conor was beating Diaz for most of this fight.

Conor's head will literally come off when Robbie throws the first punch.

So come fight night Connor comes in at 168, Lawler comes in at 188?

Lawler is a much better boxer from a fluidity standpoint. He just moves much better than Diaz in the ring.

Funny you mentioned that. I remember a thread not too long ago of Conor fans saying he'd dust any of them except Thomson in under a minute.

I like Lawler, I just don't want to see him doing 25 to life for manslaughter.

Conner got rocked by a Diaz punch, what happens when he eats Lawlers punch? 10 pounds? try 20 more at least

If we learned anything at all tonight it is that Conor is not a WW. He was dwarfed by Nate.

I don't see anything wrong with that, sounds like quality popcorn to me!
