It would be appreciated if a mod could add a poll to this thread.
Let's assume Conor gets away with a slap on the wrist, keeps his licence/visa, and the fight is made this year.
Kebab is a pretty obvious pick imo. Cardio, chin, size, and wrestling are McGregory's weaknesses and Kebab has all of them.
I give Conor about a 10% chance of getting something done on the feet before he gasses in 8 minutes. And that would have to be a sustained beating on the feet too, Kebab is not a shook manlet, he is going to take single left hands from Conor just fine.
This notion that Conor is a legit KO artist needs to stop. It's hilarious that so many people think he "sleeps" Kebab. The only person he's "slept" in the UFC is Aldo - a tiny shook manlet who literally ran onto a counter left cross.
By MMA standards Conor has legit timing and accuracy, and that combined with his excellent reach and composure, enables him to outbox most UFC fighters easily. But he's not a proper puncher. He's just a solid amateur boxer who is exposing MMA's lack of boxing ability, against smaller fighters no less.
Even Floyd, a retired 40 year old who started his career at 130, walked through his shots like nothing, smirking. He gave Conor's "power" less respect than anyone in his entire career.
Kebab might not have the chin (and obviously not the defence) of an elite boxer, but just like Diaz he'll be the only fighter Conor has fought that's at least as big, and tough as nails. He's big, strong as an ox, has a face like a spade, and has never been hurt or defeated.
He'll walk Conor down, drag him to the ground and just beat the shit out of him for a few rounds until Conor gives up and allows Kebab an easy submission win.
