Did he hurt Pacquiao? He outpointed him, he outpointed (albeit green) Canelo too, but those guys were actual threats for him, Conor wasnt, he took it very safe the first 4, im not into the "carried Conor" thing, but he seriously avoided the earlier power of the much younger and bigger fighter, he doesnt have the power to sit Conor's ass, Pacquiao does and he throws every punch with it, even if he doesnt one punch KO's him, he will put a beating on him Margarito style, want to see Conor going to sleep with one punch? Match him up with GGG or Canelo at 160lbs.
 
Conor should just box. He'd make more money in these one off fights.

No, im saying both are way better than Conor, and Pacquiao doesnt hold back...it cost him the Marquez fight he was winning, Floyd is the better of the two, but Manny is good enough to put a beating on Conor, not just win the fight.

I hope it's only a negotiation tactic. With Khabib out of the picture he really has a chance to kind of re-create his legacy in terms of the 2nd half of his career. From the Brimage to Alvarez fight it was fantastic, which is why a movie was made about it.

From Mayweather-Cerrone, it's been too inconsistent. 3 fights since January 1st of 2017. He can fight Dustin, and if he wins, he could then take on the other top LWs like Ferguson and Gaethje. He actually has a good chance to win the title & defend it.

It seems like he's been trying to erase narratives in his last 2 opponents. First narrative is that he could only knockout midgets, so he knocked out Cerrone who was 6 foot. Then the second narrative is that he doesn't give rematches to fighters he's already beat. One of the biggest negative narratives around his career is the title defense one though. Fight 3 times in 2021 and he could re-write the public perception on him. MMA only. He's disrespected in boxing, so why even do it?

Oh that’s right, they’re not retired and sitting on 9 figures, you know those hungry fighters.
