As for Usman, if he's smart, he takes McGregor down for 5 rounds but sometimes pride gets in the way of a gameplan and he may look to take McGregor out. NO one outside of his biggest nuthuggers cares anymore. Maybe he'll bring in a lot a casuals if he comes back or maybe not but a large portion of his "fans" have moved on and couldn't care less. He was the buzz with my co-workers up until the cowboy fight and after that none of them really cared much and even less after Dustin iced him twice.

This is not a body building contest - he had a bad gas tank before and very little will to push through a hard fight and that bulk not going to help him at all. He's going to get owned by anyone who is considered elite and near their prime. Outside of him fighting someone like nate (who will most likely end up beating him or have him on the run most of the fight) or tony he is not beating anyone who is not shot or part time fighter.

Most of us (haters in your words) don't care enough to even dislike him enough to tune in in the hopes he gets humiliated again. The last time he was in the cage he was sitting on his ass with a broken leg, swearing incoherently while talking about another man's wife (A man who KO'd him the fight before and was on the way to another Stoppage before his fragile foot gave out).

I think most MMA fans are unhappy about his potential vs his achievements in terms of MMA. He could have done so much more than he did.

Money wise - understandable. He made bank.

But outside of that in terms of his trash talk and general personality... kinda sad to see.

Don’t listen to the “haters” that are somehow always first to click on Conor threads, if he left the gym they would say “Conor isn’t loyal to his roots” or some shit like that.

He doesn't have to leave SBG, but with the amount of money he has made he can actually use it to bring in proper training partners for his next opponent. But from what he have seen, I doubt that will be the case, he's surrounded by yes men and training partners who will not push him to the limit.
