Diaz first wanted 160, then 165, so McGregor said, let's give him 170 such that the fight could finally be signed.

Conor made it clear that he offered to fight at 170 from the get-go... this isn't breaking news.

Remember the whole "get comfortable" line from the presser? Nate was after 165, Conor suggested 170. We've known this for days. And all this really implies that Diaz was his first choice, not that he wasn't willing to fight Khabib or Pettis or whoever if Diaz wasn't available. Conor haters grasping at straws...
 
Nate´s coach said that, that was McGregor that wanted 170, and that he found that really strange, that McGregor is a FW walking around at 190, he didn´t even know how Mcgregor was going to make that weight cut (to 155) in 2 weeks.

But we know.. near death dehydration as usual, to get any advantage possible even at the cost of his own life, i really don´t know if doing that is bravery or being a coward, that he can´t fight if he doens´t have the power upper hand.

Yes he couldnt fight in march now he suddenly can?I believe on khabib parts its just to get his name out there he had 0 intention of fighting then.And while i like idea of conor vs pettis it makes no sense with him being on a 2 fight skid.To be honest i thought they would go with uriah once he put his name out there.They have done tuf together etc so some moments there etc.

he was scheduled to fight the very best in the lw division. But the champ pussied out and withdrew. Not conor's fault. Nobody knows who khabib is. Nobody knows who pettis is. Diaz has a name. has way more followers. The best pulled out, again, not conor's fault...

Guys, relax. Don't get your knickers in a twist. Read very carefully how I phrased it. McFeathers was supposed to fight at 155 ten days before the event. There were candidates who could easily make it and there was one who couldn't (maybe Diaz was a bit scared, who knows). McFeathers chose the latter. It's just a fact.
