Conor requested 170...(Dana White)

Well...Nate said that already. Trust Nate.

If he really is weighing 180 like others are posting on here then that is a BAD move. You can only put on a few pounds of muscle in the weeks since he last fought. Most of it would be fat then

UFC wouldn't have let him fight KHABIB anyways. Whatever, this is kind of a throw away fight. The only thing Conor has to lose is a potential Lawler fight but it still leaves his LW aspirations wide open

Another Brazilian champ pulling out against Conor 2 weeks before the fight.

Yet McGregor is ducking people. LMAO, he was training to fight the UFC LW champion. Do Shertards forget this?

Khabib was scared to fight Ferguson in March and no one talks about that.

They only talk about the GOAT who is again giving them a fight. They favorites wouldn't even fight.

I didn't realize that Pettis was on the card till after Diaz was announced as the replacement. All part of the UFC's plan to keep him winning. Dana White initially wanted Faber. FABER. What does that tell you. Oh I just watched the countdown. Love how McG made sure to not get too close or try anything stupid with Diaz. He made sure he kept his distance.

Pettis was not on that card.

Wow. McFeathers really wanted to avoid Khabib, Ferguson and Pettis at 155, which would have made sense. He was prepared to fight at any weight, as long as it is Diaz. First sign of weakness? Let's hope it backfires.
What the fuck are you talking about? If you sign up to fight the best guy in the weight class above you, you can't be accused of ducking, period.

If i recall correctly it was Dana who said in the Countdown that it was Diaz the one who said that he would not be able to make 155, or 160lbs, and then they went to Conor, who said (allegedly) that he would fight Nate at 170 just to make it happen, am i wrong here?

Buh buh buh but Conor said Nate wanted 170 because he was too lazy and fat to make weight.

Explains why Aldo said no, then.

I'd bet my bottom dollar Dana told him he had to be at the weight within two days of being offered the fight, as there was no way another fight could be cancelled.

always go with the lowest risk/high reward option, any logical person understands this strategy and he is getting paid the same so why not take an easier fight? Why did GSP duck Silva? I thought he was GOAT? Goats will Goat some time... you guys just need to learn how to not be little bitches

Aldo said no because he would rather have a full camp and not 11 days notice.

There is no question that jumping immediately to a title shot at 155 is the easiest road to gaining the LW belt. Fighting just the champ, in one fight, is a much easier path than having to face some contenders, THEN fighting the champ.

Is there actually quotes from Aldo saying this? Or is it just Dana again?

But if he did say that, then that's fair enough. How can you expect him to make 170lbs in 11 days if he's nowhere near that weight?

I didn't say he ducked. I said he wanted to avoid. After Mendes fight I do not blame him.

When someones starts calling himself goat, we expect perfection...

Conor didn't request it. Nate said 165, so Conor said let's just do 170. And Conor wants big money fights, nobody knows who Khabib is.
