Conor probably could have dropped Cerrone though

Before you read this it should be noted that I am a Diaz fan, and Ive been seeing a lot of posts about McGregor not being able to beat any 155 pounders, but I disagree I know of at least one guy he could proably beat and that's Donald Cerrone. Only bigger fraud than McGregor is Cerrone. He's got people believing to this day that he is a top guy who can win the strap but he's kind of overrated to me, this may be considered bashing but I just dont think hes as good as people make him out to be, he runs in his shell during all of the important fights, and most of the top guys he's beaten he drags them to decisions, he's borderline a gatekeeper to me. With that being said I think McGregor could probably drop him.

It's possible, Cerrone is a very different kind of striker than Diaz.

Another slow starter who is tough as nails, and has great cardio and sub skills. I don't know about that.

Could Cloner beat Cerrone? Sure. Cerrone is a terribly slow starter who tends to handle pressure horribly. However, Cloner's chin and power aren't translating well in the weight move and he's fighting a bigger guy in Cerrone who can use the clinch and has no issue getting this fight to the ground to work a submission.

I'm aware that Cerrone has issues with body strikes, but Cloner doesn't fight like RDA, so it'll be a different type of pressure. I'm curious to see if Cloner can dictate the distance against Donald when Donald has so many tools as his disposal. I think it would be a great fight, but I'd ultimately favor Donald.

Right, he would get his ass kick by Cerrone too. You fans are annoying

Cerrone buckles easier than Nate so I agree

Honestly there are a lot of guys out there who would have backed off after eating those lefts, Nate just is relentless though and not only did he not back off he insisted on gaining back being the one moving forward and pressuring

Cerrone would have lost at the press conference. Then get koed stiff in the fight.

Your AV goes hand in hand with what you said. Well said

Cerrone would rape him on the ground and has the wrestling to take it there.

He did beat up the #1 contender for 3 rounds not too long ago.

But I guess that's overrated then.

Only loses to champions and the guy who beat McGregor (not to mention, he didn't fold in there like McGregor did).

McGregor's a bigger quitter than Cerrone.

He would maul Cerrone.

This guy??

He may be able to drop him but that doesn't mean he'll beat him.

I'd say Conor has a chance to beat Cerrone if he gets under his skin. But if Cerrone stays focused and not let his emotions get to him, I can see him taking it to the ground and subbing Conor in the 1st.

This is a great fight to see imo. I'm not sure how it would go. Cerrone is more well rounded, won't gas, and probably has a better chin than Conor. Conor may have more one punch power but at the end of the day this could be fotn for sure.
Fans would win if this fight happens.
