It's remarkable to see how much Conor has progressed. Aldo, on the other hand, it appears the scope of weaponry in his tool box has pretty much remained un-grown since his early days. It seems like he is content just putting in hours at the gym, getting hard sparring in and keeping his instruments in tune.

Aldo has improved in every dimension if you mean his pre WEC days as his early days. Since the WEC his boxing is notably better.

Wow. Back when Aldo actually finished fights. If anything he has regressed.

His boxing technique isn't actually that bad in this video. The footwork, ability to exploit angles and countering ability is clearly better than many (if not most) current UFC fighters. Everything else is obviously very raw, but you really see that Connor is a fighter who has built everything around that boxing base, and that base hasn't changed a whole lot even if everything to supplement it has.
