News Conor McGregor says he will return June 29th against Michael Chandler at Middleweight

Conor desperately wants to stay relevant but doesn't want to put the work in. I don't even know if he really wants to fight. Seems like he just wants to remain in the conversation.

He's burning away his 30s. Could've made loads more money and kept his focus. Instead he threw away his best athletic years.

Now he's in his mid 30s. Gonna be 36 by the time he's ready to fight. Should've kept the partying for retirement. He's going to look like absolute dogshit in his next fight, if he ever fights.
When exactly was he supposed to compete coming off of a shattered leg?

Like yeah he probably could've come back slightly sooner, but he was always going to have a massive layoff. Weidman took 2.5 years off, still looked like dogshit, and broke his leg midfight again anyways.

Like many I just don’t understand, why the hell is it at 185 ?
Why not have Izzy fight Khamzat at heavyweight

At MW??!! Wonder what Chandler will have to say about that.

More than 6 months and in MW, against Chandler? The fight is completely useless at that weight. Why don't he says I'm into roids and I need 6 months to clean up the cycle, this benefits Chandler because it's going to be 3 years, and i highly doubt Mcg's stamina will be good at MW.

Lmao at those narrow framed manlets fighting at MW
Its their more natural weight class actually, on their best day they might walk around 180lbs, very little to no weight cut.

That's wildly different than dropping out of a signed fight.
Arguably more annoying depending on who you ask. Dropping out of a signed fight at least requires an attempt.

At this point I'm not believing anything until UFC makes an official announcement. But if this is actually true...wow. Middleweight is fucking ridiculous
