Conor McGregor Reacts to Jose Aldo Retiring After UFC 315

Dude outlasted McGregor

Wild

Yeah what a legendary and long career Aldo had. I mean McGregor is better known to the man in the street but Aldo's accomplishments put him way above Conor (despite THAT loss)

Jose Aldo was as fast, vicious and accurate as anyone I've ever seen in that R3 blitz.

It's too bad his weight/cardio came back to haunt him, because that was beautiful shit he threw at Zahabi.

This overinflated post-boxing version of Conor must have forgotten what it's like to actually be quick and ferocious.
"Running-kick-to-the-face-at-the-end-of-the-combo Aldo" is how I choose to remember his last moments in the fight, and honestly, should be a new mythical fighter.

Connor praises Aldo because he beat him. He was also on friendly terms with Poirier whilst he had a win over him. If Aldo, like Poirier, ever got the opportunity to avenge his loss, he would be singing from a different hymn sheet and cursing Aldo now.

Nice to see Conor showing respect to Aldo

Aldo indeed made the 145 division a UFC-level division.

Conor came in and certified it as a division to STAY.

All Featherweights owe both these guys a LOT.

Shout out to Faber for carrying the division in the B Leagues long enough for Aldo to come in and shine.
Yup gotta give Faber props, he was very popular and held that down.

I'm glad that Conor finally admitted that he is NOT the greatest featherweight of all time.

Conor is like bffs with Aldo cause how things went.

Had he lost he might treat him like he treats Khabib. Although I dont think he actually feels ill will towards Khabib either. Just a competitive ego speaking in there. Add some pro wrestling elements and you have Khabib-Conor rivalry.
