I didn't read through all of the thread lol. Chief is a major Conor nuthugger, and to be perfectly honest, he's stuck in some kind of delusional world where mma seemingly didn't exist before Conor signed with the UFC.

Mendes won the first round by a wider margin than Conor won the first round over Nate, so there is that. Try to downplay it all you want, those "handful of shots"(more like 15-18) were heavy as all hell, and Conor got handled on the ground until Chad went for broke with that guillotine.
 
I don't understand all the Conor threads any more regarding Nate.Nate made Conor his bitch last time and will make him his bitch again it's that simple .Whats there to discuss further.
 
Yup, hes great for the UFC, but even greater for us fans that get to see him get Stockton Slapped.
 
Cant say i hate him, but i definitely cant stand to hear him talk. Glad he took care of 13 second Aldo. Glad Nate put him in his place, and will be rooting for Frankie after he beats Aldo.

But Conor has almost exactly ripped off his whole gimmick. This is the kind of thing I was talking about in my other post. People acting like he's original. He's not even original in the last 5 years, let alone the UFC, or the sport.

The weight class of the fight that Conor saved or the weight class his coach said he can no longer safely make anymore? There was no reason the fight had to take place at 170. Conor insisted the fight take place at 170 and turned down options for LW or a CW.

How can you compare him you cant compare the star power and the tickets and gate records that Conor does

Of course they will make lame excuses. At least most of them will. I don't want to lump all of his fans together. I've actually come to respect a couple of them.
 
yeah he is cool. Didn't really have a problem with him until he was set to fight diaz, obviously just because im biased. It's just annoying, before the fight happened this was supposed to be a gimme fight with a guy coming off the couch. Now all of a sudden conor is courageous.

Sonnen talked his way to two title shots as well. You act like anything Conor is doing is new. Chael challenged for the title a weight class above where he normally fought. Chael acted like a cartoon character. Chael talked massive amounts of shit, was disrespectful to his opponents and even the teammates of his opponents. Not one thing Conor does is new.

What gate records does Conor currently hold? Who held those records before hand?

Obviously financially. But more so reliability wise. He hasn't ever pulled out due to past injuries. He didn't pull out on an opponent change like others have. He fights often.

could do without him entirely. The one argument I've read is that he changed or is going to change the game as far as how well fighters are paid. I thought about that for a bit and decided I'm going to leave grown men's paycheck worries up to the grown men, as I usually do when the subject comes up.

Conor didn't save anything. Did he save that PPV from becoming a free fight on television? Well lawks a mussy, the savior dun be upon us!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't care if he makes more money for an organization that makes plenty of money already. His fights are ok but nothing spectacular. He's another incomplete fighter that runs his mouth far more than I care for.
