Media Conor McGregor claims he has the best ‘ground and pound

Unless I'm getting forgetful, who have we ever seen him GnP besides Max Holloway almost 10 years ago? Aside from follow up punches after a knockdown of course.

Is it still even considered ground and pound if it isn't from guard/a dominant ground position?

What in the blue fuck is he talking about? I mean.. What?

GNP? Panick grappling, and going for a sub in his last fight. Where he most likely let his ego control his whole game plan. Where he tried to avenge the fight before where he got ktfo supposedly only because Dustin kicked him in the legs a few times (If you’re training for your last fight instead of your next fight against the same guy.. You’ve already lost). So the guy literally broke his own leg by throwing crazy blind full power kicks. And not to mention the part where he ate some actual real GNP.

I just can’t even understand his mental state at this point. Nothing makes sense. Khabib took his soul, and Dustin took care of his brain.

Just crazy shit.

I get what he's saying. Like Jeremy Stephens said and it's been said here - Conor TKOs people. He's almost never one shot KOd someone outside of Aldo and Buchinger as far as I know. So yeah, most if his wins are by follow-up shots.

How is this stupidity? Check his % vs downed opponents its really very impressive.

Haters will hate for no reason at all these days.
Because he only throws ground and pound when his opponent is rocked and out of it

Okay then.. So from Conor’s own mouth can we put an end to this “head clean off”, “nobody can take that left hand” bullshit?

It’s hilarious how he has pretty much contradicted in either actions or words every single thing that made him popular. Yet he still has fans. lol

“I’ve the best ground and pound in the game,” McGregor wrote. “My highest percentage of finishes does not actually come from my standing horizontal back hand, like most assume. My highest percentage of finishing wins actually come from the accuracy of my vertical punching (you are all novices vertical striking. Arm hitters. Ask ref to stop it hitters. Fall over on yourself hitters).

“I don’t miss [ground and pound]. I do not hit arms. I do not fall in. I hit soft face, head and skull.”
