Media Conor McGregor beautiful evasion and return after devastating blow

I am a huge Conor fan but unless Khabib's chin deteriorates, he would win 4 out of 5 times by decision or submission. You would need a dangerous grappler who has better striking than Khabib and can survive the pressure. Do Bronx is the only one who has a chance but the last point is questionabl.

A motivated Conor beats Justin, Dustin and Tony IMO.

His mentality and hunger were different then. He was supremely confident. I think he wouldve done better but Habib fanboys dont know anything about habib outside of maybe 3 fights.

Baseless really.

He looked great against Cowboy aswell who’s also garbage compared to Khabib.

There’s no basis that any version of McGregor would do better against Khabib than he actually did.

It's hard to give more credit to the guy who came out worse. "Yeah sure I got rocked, dropped, and slammed on my ass, but I hit him with a knee.". It doesn't really matter.

What I took away from that footage was Conor getting consistently out struck on his feet.

By a wrestler.

"50% 50%

Khabib slapped the GOAT and bullied him prior to any altercation with Conor."

but only cause it got back to khabib that he was talking trash behind his back

so please respond with a newly adjusted percentage :D

ha ha , people still talking shit like another version of Conor could win.
book of excuses of conor gets bigger and bigger.
Conor came with an idea of a ballon foot about 1 year after that fight.
look what Khabib did to Justin with a broken toe.

Khabib beat the shit out of Conor and made it look easy, get over it

Honestly, I was impressed as well. He ate a big shot, instantly recovered, dodged a knee and then landed his own. Can you imagine if he would have KO'ed Khabib with the knee after that? You'd never hear the end of it.

Conor gets a lot of deserved crap but he's talented and I won't deny him of that.

Conor 4.2 will triple spin kick Khabib's head into the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, then go ko Stipe, Jones, Francis in the same night.

Khabib fans love to constantly post the shortened gif of this knockdown and not give due credit to the beautiful recovery.

Look how McGregor beautifully evades a potential fight ending knee and answers back with one of his own (connecting clean). Mind you, this is after eating a flush overhand right (McGregor's first time being knocked down). The fact that his awareness is seemingly unfazed and maintained following this blow was incredible.

This little sequence proves that although the fight appeared lopsided, flurries like this could very well have put an end to EITHER gentleman's night. Who's to say McGregor's flush knee wouldn't put Khabib's lights out in a rematch? As we all know, with McGregor, all it takes is one.

you high on crack? conor doesnt have the power to knock out khabib or the speed to match him. khabib had a speed advantage in the striking.
khabib has a granit chin and is visibly faster than mcgregor. you post a gif where conor is on the retreat. backing up. khabib has is hands low and doesnt respect conors striking anymore.

you are talking out of your ass by saying that conor could have put an end to khabibs night. khabib dominated him on the ground and striking on the feet.

Yes. He's an excellent fighter. He was excellent in that fight. Excellent wasn't enough or nearly enough in that fight

@Steve Fox

"Totally agree. Conor definitely contributed to it."

if youd had to label dispicablenes percentage wise .. what percentage do you assign Khabib & Conor

Ill give a rough estimate of

Khabib 33.3333333%
Conor 66.6666666%

with a margin of error roughly 00.000001%

50% 50%

Khabib is only restoring universal equilibrium. Khabib's importance is only in service of greater things. Getting mad at him is like getting mad at a janitor for cleaning trash or getting mad at a cop for putting away a serial rapist. Yeah, it is especially like that last one come to think of it.

Artem cheapened the sport by divorcing his words and his actions. Khabib corrected it. Conor cheapened the sport further by committing criminal activity and showing that it can reward your career. Khabib corrected that, sunk his career, and broke down the horrible UFC PR machine to work towards goodness rather than shit. Danis cheapened the sport divorcing his words and his actions/displaying extreme disrespect. Khabib corrected it and showed accountability means something.

October 7th all was corrected/evil was vanquished/it slunk away moaning "it's only business."

I legit still like conor the fighter, but c'mon man, this is really reaching

I like this.

The knee conor landed on khabibs first shot made me worried about a rematch. Conor could full well beat khabib in a rematch, as its a fight and anything could happen.
And for that reason alone, I don't want the rematch. Not because I think its a good chance of happening, mainly just because of the consequences if it happens. Division held up for 5 years, having to listen to mcgregor talk shit like some bruce lee philosopher. Maybe some boxing fights again. Urghhhhhhhh. When mcgregor holds a belt its a literal fuckin stain on the integrity of the sport.
