McGregor looks and sounds drunk. I'm not convinced McGregor actually wants to fight in the UFC. Maybe if he has a financial pinch, but since January 2017 which is nearly 8 years, McGregor has fought only 4 times. Losing 3 times and winning once. Beat a washed up Cerrone and got finished by Khabib and Poirier twice. The losses were against elite fighters, so no shame there. But at some point the cage rust will be substantial and McGregor was never known for good cardio. Plus his confidence and mental toughness are somewhat questionable until he shows he can win fights against Top 10 opponents.

I guess Chandler being ranked behind Hooker doesn't make much sense but he hasn't fought in 2 years. Dan's current ranking is justified.

Regarding Hooker/McGregor, I actually would like to see that fight…but at this rate he just needs to fight someone.
