They do seem of similar cloth. Both rape, lie, cheat on their wives, and make little sense when they speak!
 
Time has shown that celebrities win, at least in America. Jesse Ventura, Arnold and Trump are proof of that. We live in a culture that votes for the eccentric and the popular commodity above all else.
The fact that Conor was convicted of rape means nothing. If anything, it only boosts his profile. Assuming dissatisfaction is high in Ireland, he's a shoe-in.
Conor may be the worst, but I wouldn't be surprised at all if he becomes the new president of Ireland.

Patriotic, critically thinking Americans are upset because low IQ MAGAts were able to return America's worst president to the White House due to one third of eligible voters not voting. Perhaps we should follow Australia and fine citizens for not voting.
 
I’d feel bad for Ireland if he actually became president. People have lost the meaning of what a real leader should have that will lead an entire nation. You put Conor in a management position at any company, it would lead to failure.

I'm pretty sure McGregor bulked up before that contract was ever signed. He did so mostly because rehab is hard work. There was a fair bit of time where his good leg was twice the size of his bad leg and his upper body was in line with his good leg. He was lazy as fuck on his rehab and spending his time bulking up everything else made him feel better about that. He clearly did basically no rehab at all, which is why everyone should have known from no later than early 2022 that he was never fighting again. Even if he looks like he could get into fighting shape now, Conor's leg never healed properly and he'd be murked by any UFC fighter in whatever is his weight class these days.

It's not an accident that in all the training footage he's put online since his injury he's never shown a hint of mobility.

The president of Ireland is apparently a ceremonial position with no real power.

I really dgaf. As far as political opinions Conor has, he's been pretty wide depending on how he's feeling. He could've spoke up early in his career but instead only after he retired from fighting spoke more in detail of his real political leanings. So this guy really doesn't have any history with politics or stood for something his whole life.

Not only that he's basically drunk or on coke all the time and an online influencer. I'd probably vote for him if I were Irish though, let the bureaucracy below the president deal with a clown in charge. More fun to watch than the other options doing nothing.
 
Conor will make more in one fookin payoff than he has for his entire UFC career.

Every politician in the world is run by the lifetime bureaucrats that remain from one president to the other, & ultimately answer to whomever is paying the most, so it doesn't really matter which talking head is in teh presidency.

May as well be someone entertaining.
