I believe Conor is waiting to see who wins the LW title between Khabib and Ferguson before he decides which direction to go.

If Khabib wins Conor fights Diaz or waits for the FW title after T city/Holloway

If Ferguson wins then Conor will be licking his chops for that fight and he will dominate slow start Ferguson.

If Khabib wins and Conor takes that money fight I will be really surprised but I don't see that happening

This is exactly right. I said so all along, people seem to think Kebab is a lock to win against Conor (and he probably would win to be fair), but there is a huge disparity in their stand up and the fight does start standing, so Conor has a very good chance against Kebab.

Tony is very well rounded, very tough, big, and has excellent stamina. All legit anti McGregor attributes.

There is a flaw in your logic. McGregor has never needed Ferg to beat Khabib to make that fight happen.

If McGregor really wanted to fight Ferg then it would have happened already. Ferg has been calling for McGregor to fight him or vacate since he won the interim title in Oct. McGregor has wanted no part of him and Ferg has had to move on and fight Khabib instead.

But if it was true that Conor would refuse to fight Khabib, and he really wants to fight Tony - then one has to wonder why they're wasting all the hype on "Conor vs Khabib IN RUSSIA" rather than trying to hype up Conor vs Tony.

Sure, I can get how fans think Conor is bluffing, after the Edgar situation...

But if it's all a bluff - it might not be a good one. It's likely to backfire. Since there's already less hype for Tony vs Conor - that will lead to less PPV sales. Not a smart move for a money hungry guy.
