Conor is still such a beast. He need to get back to fw to defend his belt against Aldo then climb that ladder again at lw.

Looking forward to that next fight. And don't lose that swagger and confidence.

#stillbeastin.

Truly made the ufc that much more exciting.

"That dude" is gonna be Jones when he wins his title back. Conor just took a backseat.

Conor is a great fighter and I'm still a fan. He schooled Diaz in the first round and looked amazing imo. I think he could take him in a rematch, but he'd need a different, more conserved approach. Diaz has endless cardio and is tough as nails - you can't count on taking him out early. Conor was gassing a little in the second round, and when Diaz nailed him with that good shot, it was the beginning of the end. Less cockiness (he needs to keep those hands up) and more patience and calculation, and he could win.

Anyway, that's how I saw it, might need to rewatch the fight though. Conor is still a boss for moving up and taking fights at higher weight classes, but I think WW is too much for him. LW could be interesting, but I think RDA and Khabib beat him. Cerrone, Pettis and Ferguson would be very interesting fights!

So it's time to beat Manlets and midgets?

I can't wait until he fights and cuts 40 pounds and still acts like he's the fucking man...

While he taps, lol

He's begging for that 145 division now.

G'bye UFC 200.

If you judge fights by bias UFC commentary and not the actual action, was quite amusing in the clips between rounds when one had been picked out to highlight Diaz landing good shots but Rogan just talked up Conor instead.

His best spell was actually the first half of the 2nd round where he did look to be getting the upper hand although Nate was still landing good counters before he rocked him.

Conor's Featherweight title is his get out of jail free card.

He's still going to headline massive PPV cards and smash 145ers

On that note he should not move up to 170 ever again
If a short notice Nate Diaz did that to him, I believe Robbie Lawler would re-arrange his face

Cloner might need to take Nate's BJJ classes on the weekends with those kids, lol.

He needs to starch somebody asap

The hype can recover by something like 70% I think. Maybe a little less but still will be very popular

I think he should move up to middleweight and challenge luke rockhold for the middleweight title next. It's obvious he lost simply because his opponent was just too small.

If McGregor fights Edgar next, he'll lose again.

No he isn't "still that dude." His trash talking days are over. He's going to sound really dumb after that humiliating loss to Nate.

War Nate.

We watched the fight differently, then. I honestly don't notice the commentary much, and when I do, I'm usually not too fond of Rogan's taking sides. I saw Diaz getting bloodied up by many good shots while Conor didn't get hit much at all in the first, but like I said, I might need to rewatch the fight.

LOL good one. You're right though - Conor definitely needs to improve his ground game if he wants to survive the likes of Nate down there.

Well either you were listening to the commtary or your analysis of MMA is questionable because McGregor most definitely did not "school" Diaz in the 1st round. I would have no problem with him winning the round but really it was pretty even with both guys landing a similar number of strikes of a similar kind of power.

Again I think there were points early in the 2nd round where Conor did look like he was standing to dominate in terms of offencive output but Diaz never looked hurt and still looked dangerous on the counter before he rocked him.

If he really didn't plan on ever going back as Dana said I imagine putting on weight and getting a bit older will not make those weight cuts any easier
